Do you know that people who work hard never succeed or those few who do, lose more than they win?
Just think about the parents that tell to their kids to work hard. Only those parents that are middle class or lower class say that. They say ‘work hard’ not because they wish their kids to experience hard life as they did, but because they do not know any other way.
You see, everything we learnt, or mainly what we learnt, was taught by our parents, friends, teachers or similar people. They all had jobs and had middle class life. Therefore we listened to such people and had the same life as they did. I must emphasise again that those people cannot be blamed, because they were taught this way and they do not know that there is another way – or do not want to believe that there is (because they are so used to their old thinking).
They were taught to think in a competitive way: try to outwit others, try to get there first, there is not enough to go round, you have to be very competitive in this life to have at least something, money does not grow on trees, life is tough, etc.
You see, this way of thinking was imposed by us and taken by us for granted – as 100% truthful statements. Just read these statements again. Don’t they make you feel upset, angry, feeling like you are a victim, feeling downright depressed? So now just think – does any truthful statement feel bad or good? If the statement is truth, it cannot feel bad. It would not make any sense, as truth is good. Maybe I am too philosophical here, but hopefully you understood me.
However, if you were taught from the childhood that it is very easy to make money, we are all born equal therefore we have equal opportunities to make money and there is no point in rushing to get your part as there is more than enough of wealth for everyone in this world. Where do you think you would be now if you were taught this way? I can guarantee you that not where you are now!
You see these statements feel right, as they are truth. Of course, you may not believe in that arguing with your comfortable imposed ‘truths’ that came from parents and friends. But why would you take their words for granted? Why would you think that they really know the truth? You are not a child any more and you should really know that all adults make mistakes, in fact 95% of people really have not got a clue of how to make money as their values about money are so wrong. Therefore make yourself a favour and do not listen to any of them. Only listen to yourself (what you really feel, and not what the intelligence acquired from others tells you) and listen to the people who are truly rich and successful.
Also, you would feel much much better if you could stop watching TV. You probably do not realise to what extent TV controls peoples’ lives – what they eat, how they dress. TV can get you depressed and even suicidal. I know these words are harsh but I really want to emphasise the impact it makes. Although, for example, you may ignore ads that come on TV, they will still be read by your unconscious mind, as they kept being repeated for this reason. And you will not even realise when the advertised on TV product will be in your kitchen or living room.
Instead of the useless hours spent watching TV you can start reading self help books or reading at least one article from this website. You will be improving yourself in every way. You will start feeling happier and your mood swings will be gone.
In the first part of this article I explained the competitive mind. In summary, it is common ‘facts’ about life, e.g. that the supply is limited, only bad people become rich, you must work hard to succeed, only intelligent people make in this life, etc. These are all useless statements and you should never listen to such nonsense.
When you start following advice on this website you will notice that you will stop rushing and fearing about everything. You will realise that there is plenty of supply for everyone and that indeed everyone can succeed if they prepare their mind for riches. This can be done through visualisation, positive thinking, only allowing positive thoughts to rule your mind, thinking about positive future rather then the past (thinking about past creates loops in your life – meaning that you will never get ahead and you will keep repeating the same mistakes).
Now these positive activities is not hard work at all! It is very enjoyable and if you notice that you do not enjoy some of them, e.g. visualisation, it means that you do not want the thing you keep in your mind. I will explain this more in detail. E.g. if you started to think what you would like to be or have in the future, and you thought of a luxury apartment in central London. But then when it comes to visualising, you really do no feel like thinking about it and you mind keeps wondering somewhere else. This may mean that your conditioned thinking (through your parents, friends, relatives, TV and other influences) automatically assumed that you want this thing. But probably it is not the case and you should really quietly sit down for at least 10 minutes and really think what it is that you want. Maybe you want a house in a quiet area, rather then in the town centre?
Also, you will notice that when you start doing all these positive things your mind will start telling you things like: ‘I am tired today, I will do that tomorrow’, or ‘I am very busy today, I have no time to do this’ and similar things. If you listen to what this voice tells you you will be exactly where you are in the future – you will not get ahead. This quiet voice is your ‘old you’, and when it notices that you try to change (meaning that you try to remove the old you from yourself) it will try everything for you to change your mind and get into your old habits. Completely ignore this voice and with time (it will not take long – keep being persistent) it will die off and you will change your life to a richer, healthier and happier future.
When you really tune into the creative mind and fall out of the competitive mind, you will stop competing trying to out win others. You will know that you will achieve your goal in the time that is exactly right for you – without any hard work or struggle. You will find it quite funny to watch people rushing about, pushing each others like headless chickens, looking like being controlled by some unseen hand – only to end up in the future destined for masses.
Never again fall into the competitive mind if you do not want to end up where you started.
